Hagana Agro processing company was established with the aim of connecting small holder farmers to market opportunities and registered in April 2018 based on experiences the founders and the staff inherited from model company (Honey Care Africa) worked in South Sudan from September 2013- March 2018. Just three months after incorporation, Hagana exported 600Kgs of Honey to Japan and 50kgs of Beeswax to Japan. To date In total we have bought 25,900kgs of comb honey from farmers, 96.2% of the sourced honey has sold in the local market. Hagana CEO is a proud winner of the 2019 South Sudan Chamber of Commerce Young Entrepreneur Award of the year. Some of the achievements in South Sudan that Hagana is proud about include;
